Gintong Ani Philippines - consists of Folk Dancers, Street/Pop Dancers and Rodalla. Formerly known as the Gintong Ani Dance Troupe, the group is composed of highly-talented and devoted individuals. Being a member of Gintong Ani Philippines creates a well-rounded lifestyle of discipline, exposure, creativity, cross-trainings, professionalism, studiousness, fellowship and spirituality. Gintong Ani Philippines CLSU is also known for its originality and versatility specializing in Filipino Folk dances and hip-hop as its major component and also its aim to establish the Filipino identity in Hip-hop.


A cultural performing group with live rondalla showcasing Philippine culture dance and music in different international dance festivals and national performances, representing talented students and professionals of Central Luzon State University.

The CLSU-Gintong Ani Dance Troupe was organized December 8, 2000, by the Central Luzon State University through the leadership of Dr. Norma Quitos, ISPEAR Director,with Mr. Roderick Quitos, as adviser and Mr. Adonis Voltaire M. Villanueva, a former Assistant Director of the Araullo University Dance Troupe (now Novo Ecijano Dance Troupe, as Dance Director /Choreographer.

It took them less than three (3) months to organize the group because of the members enthusiasm, patience and perseverance. The group was named "Gintong Ani" which means "Golden Harvest", to represent Agriculture, which the CLSU is famous for.

Now the group's name had evolved to GINTONG ANI PHILIPPINES - CLSU conquering International Dance Festivals all over the world representing the rich and overwhelming culture of the Filipinos.They have showcased their pride abroad such as in The United Sates of America, Singapore and repeated performances in Thailand. They have also dominated national performances such as The Concert at the Park, in Luneta Manila, The Sama-samang Galaw of the Cultural Center of the Phillipines, The WOW Gitnang Luzon of the Department of Tourism, The Cultural Performances in Quezon City Circle and many more.

The continuous support from the CLSU President, Dr. Ruben C. Sevilleja, the overwhelming assistance of the ISPEAR Director, Dr. Jolito Ben and the dedication of the student performers made the GINTONG ANI PHILIPPINES CLSU outstanding and garnered prestigious commendations over a decade.
